The Ex Cathedra Scholars Ensemble, joined by students and staff instrumentalists from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire's Historical Performance Department and distinguished alumni, presents a diverse programme of French choral music from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries, including works by Bouzignac, Mouliné, Du Mont, Campra and Rameau, alongside Berlioz's technically demanding Lélio, ou le retour à la vie, featuring tenor Tom Hawkey-Soar.
